What sends a business into litigation?

The short answer is disputes.

• A business could engage a contractor and determine that the work was not completed properly.
• An employee or ex-employee could accuse the business of some form of discrimination.
• A customer of the business could refuse to pay an outstanding charge.

Kaplan & Lukowski, LLP has handled these kinds of disputes for two decades. Our goal is to resolve the dispute without actual litigation. The cost of litigation can be too heavy a burden for the business to bear, so all other avenues of settlement will be exhausted first.  Litigation is a last resort.
